A proper wet bar needs plumbing runs, dedicated circuits for refrigeration, and cabinetry that is built for the space rather than pulled off a shelf. Because we design and build the whole basement, those decisions happen early, when they are cheap, instead of as change orders.
Some clients want a simple counter with a sink and a beverage fridge. Others want a full back bar with a kegerator, glass shelving, a whiskey display, and seating for eight. Both are real projects to us, and the design consultation is where we figure out which one fits your space, your budget, and how you host.
Simple dry bars with stock cabinetry start in the low five figures as part of a larger project. Full custom wet bars with stone counters, refrigeration, and tile work typically run 15,000 to 40,000 dollars depending on size and finishes. We quote every bar itemized.
Only for a wet bar. If there is a utility sink or bathroom rough-in nearby, adding a bar sink is usually straightforward. If not, we will price the plumbing run honestly and show you a dry bar alternative.
