Joliet basements come in two very different flavors. The older neighborhoods around the Cathedral Area and Ridgewood have homes past the century mark with low ceilings, stone foundations, and basements that were never meant to be lived in. Out west toward Wesmere and the Plainfield border, 90s and 2000s subdivisions have deep, dry, wide-open basements that are begging to be finished.
We work both. Older Joliet basements take honest evaluation up front, and we will tell you plainly what ceiling height and moisture allow before you spend money on design. Newer west-side basements are the easiest wins in our whole service area: 8 to 9 foot ceilings, bathroom rough-ins already in the slab, and open spans that fit a bar, theater, and gym on one level.

Yes. Electrical, plumbing, and structural work are all permitted and inspected. We handle the paperwork and inspections on every project.
West-side family basements usually combine a bar, a TV lounge, and a bathroom. Gyms are the fastest-growing request.
