In newer homes we build full lower levels: bar, media space, gym, and bath, planned as one design. In older ranches and split-levels we give you a straight assessment of what the ceiling height and mechanicals allow, then design within it. A well-planned 7.5 foot basement beats a badly planned 9 foot one.

Often yes. Low ceilings need honest planning around ducts and beams, and we will show you what fits before you commit. Some homes are better served by a lighter remodel, and we will say so.
Mostly patience: fresh foundations should cure and prove dry through a season when possible. Beyond that, they are ideal candidates with rough-ins already placed.
